In 2022, Studio Eliste and Heym Collections wrote another piece of Austrian design history with their quirky jewel by the Wolfgangsee: a lakeside boutique hotel with eight intimate rooms and a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The house was once again completely renovated and now shines in a new light and signature color palette. From the eclectic red of the breakfast room to the deep blue of the hallway and writer’s corner, patterns of Bert & May concrete tiles and wallpapers contribute to Villa Alma’s warm and playful character. No wonder the designers themselves got playful—Studio Eliste created bespoke furniture pieces and sourced lamps and antiques from all over Europe for lovely Alma.
